City Digital Twin

The project

City Digital Twin connects housing, cadastral, economic and mobility datasets with interactive maps and charts. At Aretian, Elijah worked as the sole full-stack engineer on the platform, alongside work on its interface and visual identity.

Built for planners, policymakers and researchers, the platform supports comparisons from neighborhoods to municipalities, comarcas and provinces across Catalunya. The implementation connects data pipelines to the maps, charts and queries people use to investigate an area. The stack includes Next.js, TypeScript, deck.gl and Supabase Postgres.

My role

Full-stack engineering, interface design and visual identity at Aretian

• Built data pipelines integrating housing, cadastral, economic and mobility datasets.
• Developed the frontend for querying, visualizing and comparing data across geographic scales.
• Produced the product’s logo, visual identity and media.
